The County Council has introduced a new grant scheme called ‘Growing our Communities’. Our County Councillor Paul Hodgkinson has £10k a year for the next 3 years to spend in his county division to give support to community initiatives which:
- contribute to identify and reduce social isolation
- develop self- supporting community hubs
- promote digital/virtual support networks
- promote healthy lifestyles
- support safer neighbourhoods.

The Town Council is looking at ideas for this but we are encouraging any community group with relevant ideas to apply directly as well.
