The Northleach Charter Fair and Music Festival committee is delighted to announce this year’s event will take place, for the second year running, on the King George V playing fields at the NEW time of 11 am to 5 pm, with the Music Festival kicking off from 5 pm to 11 pm.

• A designated ‘kids area’: – face painting, fun fair and Go Karts
• Puppet shows by ‘Puppets and Pandemonium’
• All day festival activities for kids by Junkfish
• Annual favourites like welly wanging and the Northleach fire engine
• BBQ, refreshments and food stands
• Stalls and so much more…
The Charter Fair will close at 5pm and the Music Festival, whilst backing the event during the day with acoustic music, will present a varied mix of local musicians and bands. Gully, rock and pop covers band, will headline and close the event at 11 pm.
The Charter Fair dates back to 1227 when King Henry III granted the town of Northleach a Charter, allowing a weekly market and an annual fair. The date of the Charter Fair is always the last Saturday of June, being the closest weekend to the feast day of St Peter and St Paul.
The Northleach Charter Fair benefits many charities and businesses. Last year’s saw a 55% uplift from the previous year, with the monies benefiting local and international charities and local clubs. We cannot thank you enough and look forward to seeing you this year.
