Hamlet @ Stratford Park

15 June 2016 @ 7:30 pm

In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, The Festival Players Theatre Company is proud to present the Bard’s most famous play, Hamlet.

Presented in full costume, an all-male company will bring you the excitement of this great thriller; intrigue, ghostly visitations, passion, a play-within-a play, a gripping duel, and humour, in a crystal-clear and fast-paced 2-hour production.

The Friends of the Museum in the Park are delighted to welcome back the Festival Players to Stratford Park for the third year. The Players are a local touring company based in Stonehouse and are well known locally, nationally and internationally. Hamlet will be performed against a backdrop of the Orangery at 7.30pm on Wednesday 15 June.

This year’s Shakespearian evening promises to be a great night of entertainment. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic from 6pm. Cakes and Pimms will be available to buy. The Museum will also be open during the event for hot drinks and ice cream.

Don’t forget to bring your chairs, tables and rugs for a fabulous evening of tragedy and intrigue. Please dress appropriately as this is an outdoor event.

In aid of the Walled Garden Appeal.
