Hamilton Meadow and Wild Flower Resurgence

The Hamilton Meadow is cut for hay between mid-July and September to encourage wildflowers, by giving them plenty of time to bloom and drop their seed. These efforts are starting to pay off and more interesting flowers are appearing, like this pyramidal orchid. If you do see one, please take care not to trample it and leave it for others to enjoy.
