Audit & Accounting Statements for Financial Year 2016-2017

The council is required to prepare an annual return for each financial year, which provides information about the council’s financial position and the internal controls. This contains three parts: the accounting statement, the annual governance statement and the external auditor’s certificate. The first two parts have now been completed and reviewed by an internal auditor in preparation for the external audit.
