Parking in the Green and Market Place

The Town Council recognises that parking in Market Place and the Green remains a concern for many residents and continues to be a regular topic of discussion at Council meetings. đźš—

We are currently working with Gloucestershire Highways and other specialists to explore options that could help address some of the key issues around safety and parking. Once proposals are developed, residents will be fully consulted before any decisions are made.

In the meantime, while longer-term solutions are being considered, we kindly ask residents, wherever possible, to use private driveways or off-street parking, particularly for vehicles not in regular daily use.

This will help ensure that more space is available for visitors coming into the town to shop, dine, and access local services — contributing to the continued vitality of our town centre.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Northleach with Eastington – 04072025

Change of Date for Full Council Meetings

Please note that Full Council meetings will now be held on the second Wednesday of each month, rather than the third. This change is intended to avoid clashes with district and county council meetings – which are both held on third Wednesdays – and give ward councillors the opportunity to join us.

This new schedule will be trialled for a period of six months after which it will be reviewed.

However, due to an administrative oversight, the next meeting will still take place on the third Wednesday as per the previous schedule. This means it will take place on Wednesday 18 June. We apologise for any confusion caused.

All council and committee meetings take place at the Westwoods Centre, Northleach, starting at 7pm.

Our meetings calendar is published on the meetings and minutes page.
