About the Proposals
The Farmington Trust are currently preparing an outline application for up to 48 dwellings (all matters reserved except access) on land east of Nostle Road and north of East End, Northleach. This is an allocated site in the Cotswolds Local Plan (2018).
A two-week public consultation is being held on the proposals between Monday 10th November and Monday 24th November 2025 to obtain feedback from the local community before the application is submitted to Cotswold District Council.
A public exhibition is being held on Wednesday 12th November, 3:30pm to 7:30pm at the Westwoods Centre.
Starting on Monday 10 November, details of the consultation can be found at: www.corylus-ltd.co.uk/nostle-road-consultation.
Feedback can be sent by email to: nostleroad@corylus-ltd.co.uk.

I’m concerned that more green spaces are being developed on unnecessarily, there is already a lot of properties for sale in northleach which are different sizes and price ranges, they have been very slow moving on the market if sold at all.
I would like to know how many will actually be affordable houses?
Without wanting to sound stereotypical, I’m also concerned how many of these houses will be allocated to social housing and how many could possibly be given to immigrants, potentially putting our low crime neighbourhood and family oriented community at risk.
I also wonder if the local services can cope with an extra 48 houses, is the drainage adequate, power supply etc?
Is the doctor’s surgery able to take on another 48 families and the local primary and secondary school able to accommodate for this.
There are lots of new build estates and developments which have all been built locally to northleach and a fair few are sat empty still, proving that there is not much of a need.
