Northleach Council Newsletter May 2012

Posted on 18 April 20127 November 2017 By Town Clerk

Queen’s Diamond Jubilee
The Town Council is organising a community photograph to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Further details will be available soon. Various other celebrations are being planned so contact us if you need advice. The Olympic Torch Relay will be in Cirencester on 23rd May and in Chipping Campden on 1st July. Large turnouts are expected so please bear this in mind if you are planning on attending the celebrations.

Dog fouling
Unfortunately this continues to be an on-going issue especially in the Churchyard and on the playing field. We are working closely with the Environmental Wardens who operate regular patrols in Northleach. However we need your help. If you have any information or concerns we can deal with these confidentially so please contact us.

Northleach With Eastington Town Council
Information about the Town Council including meetings and contact details are available on our notice board in the Market Place. Regular updates on the mobile police vans and library are also included.

Question of the month
We are asked lots of questions about our community. One of this month’s enquiries was about a broken street light. Issues with street lights which are not working can be reported to Gloucestershire County Council either online at www.gloucestershire.gov.uk or by calling 08000 514 514.
