Planned Closure of All Alone on 22 April 2025

Notice from Gloucestershire Highways:

Please be advised of the following closure:

  • All Alone Lane, Northleach

This road will be closed (as per the attached plan) from 09:00 to 16:00 on 22/04/2025 to allow for tree clearance work by Core Highways.

Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained.

A417 Works: Full Overnight Closure of A436, October 2024

Missing Link – Works information

Full overnight closure of the A436 (both directions)
Monday 7 October to Friday 11 October (inclusive) – 21:00 to 06:00
Monday 14 October to Friday 18 October (inclusive) – 21:00 to 06:00

We will be closing the A436 from the Air Balloon Roundabout and Ullenwood Manor Road for us to undertake the installation of permanent drainage and gullies, installation of kerbs, surfacing and ducting works.

A417 Closures Oct 24

Overnight Closures on A417 from Air Balloon to A46 Brockworth Junction

There will be two weeks of full overnight closure between A46 Brockworth junction and Air Balloon roundabout on:

  • Monday 16 September to Friday 20 September
  • Monday 23 September to Friday 27 September
  • 9pm to 6am

Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be in place.

A diversion route will be in place via A46, A40, A435 to A436 and has been approved by Gloucestershire County Council.

A429 Ash Dieback Tree Works in September 2024

What:     Temporary Traffic Order to close the road for essential Ash Dieback tree work.

Where:   A429 – Cirencester to Northleach (A40 Jct) (see letter for details of the exact location)

When:     9-20th September 2024 inclusive (excluding weekends) from 09.30 to 15.30 daily.

On behalf of Gloucestershire County Council, we are advising you that we are due to be conducting essential works at the above location to remove unsafe trees infected with Ash Dieback.

Ash Dieback disease causes Ash trees to become unsafe; trees could shed limbs or collapse on to the road causing harm and injury. This work must take place for health and safety reasons, to protect road users and pedestrians, and make sure the carriageway remains clear of debris.

Roadworks: Surface Dressing on Lodge Park Road

Please see the letter and leaflet for information about the upcoming surface dressing works at Burford Road to Larket Hill Wood, Aldsworth.
