Thames Water has issued the following message:
Dear Customer,
We’re getting in touch on behalf of Thames Water, your water wholesaler, to inform you that a hosepipe ban is now in effect in your area as of Tuesday 22 July.
This Temporary Use Ban (TUB) applies across several areas of the Thames Water supply region, including the following postcode areas: OX, GL, SN, RG4, RG8, and RG9.
Persistent dry weather and reduced river and reservoir levels have made water conservation essential. The ban is one of several emergency measures to help secure supply and avoid risk of further disruption.
