A vacancy has arisen for one councillor to serve on Northleach with Eastington Town Council.
As a Town Councillor, you will be focusing on local issues, representing the interests of local residents, and making decisions on behalf of the community. The Town Council looks after facilities from allotments and bus stops to playgrounds and playing fields, and serves as the voice of the local community working with other local authorities. You will join the existing team of 10 councillors who are committed to making a difference.
To be eligible for the position of a councillor, you must be:
- aged 18 or over,
- a British, Irish or qualifying Commonwealth citizen, and
- on the electoral register for the parish, or have lived or worked within 3 miles of the parish for the previous 12 months.
