As you will be aware, some of the Government lockdown restrictions will be eased on Saturday 4th July. Community Centres and outdoor playgrounds are two of the facilities which are able to open if it is safe to do so. For the moment, The Westwoods Centre will remain closed but it is likely that the play parks will be allowed to open from Saturday 4th July.
We have not received any guidance yet regarding any special measures that we need to put in place. If we are able to open them, could we ask that you observe sensible hygiene including washing hands before and after visiting the play parks. It will be impossible for us to sanitize these outdoor areas so families will use the facilities entirely at their own risk. Families will need to socially distance as much as they can.
Please be mindful and do not allow children to use the equipment if they are at all unwell. If we do receive further guidance we will let you know. For the time being of course and until Saturday 4th July at the earliest, the play parks remain closed.
