Based on Government advice and the information that we are receiving from our advisory bodies about Coronaviris, the decision has been made to close The Westwoods Centre and the Sports Pavilion (Tea Room and changing rooms section) with immediate effect.
This decision has not been taken lightly. Following guidance issued yesterday regards social interaction and unnecessary journeys, many of our regular clubs and groups have cancelled their bookings for the foreseeable future. Therefore closing the Westwoods Centre and the Sports Pavilion until further notice will enable us to minimise the risks to all our visitors.
The Council Office at the Westwoods Centre will be closed to visitors with immediate effect. Council employees will continue to work and will be available on email and telephone as usual. At this point Council meetings will continue in order to conduct the Council’s business for the Parish. We will communicate with you if that changes.
