An early Christmas present for the town …
The final safety inspection of our new playground took place on Thursday, and confirmation came in yesterday afternoon that we could open. We’re grateful to Playdale’s area sales manager who went the extra mile and came over this morning to drop the Heras fencing so that our new playground could open in time for Christmas.
We hope you will agree that this is a fantastic new facility for the Town. There will be an “official” thank you and grand opening in due course, but in the meantime, the Town Council would like to say a huge thank you to all everyone who helped to bring the project to fruition. We would particularly like to acknowledge the generous grants and donations recieved from Northleach Town Trustees, Cotswold Fosseway Lions Club and Cotswold District Council’s Community Projects Fund.
As companies are closed over the festive period, the rest of the fencing will come down in the New Year. Enjoy your new playground (and please don’t play on the Heras fencing).
