The Town Council is launching a new Community Awards scheme to recognise the people who make a real difference in our community.

Do you know someone who goes the extra mile for others? Perhaps a volunteer, a young person making a positive contribution, or someone who quietly helps keep community life going. The awards are a chance to say thank you and celebrate those efforts.

Residents are invited to submit nominations, with awards to be presented at the Annual Town Meeting. Please start thinking about who deserves to be recognised. Then fill in the application form below and return it by email or by hand to the Westwoods Centre.

Deadline: Sunday 10th May 2026.

Winners: Announced at the Annual Town Meeting on 27th May 2026.

Categories

🌟 Young Person of the Year: Presented to a young person (max. age 17) who has through a club, organisation, or of their own volition, significantly contributed to the community.

🌟 Northleach Community Award: Presented to an individual aged 18 or over who has helped improve life in the parish. This might include supporting or caring for people, raising funds for local projects or causes, or helping to improve the town’s facilities and resources.

Eligibility
  1. Nominees do not have to reside in the parish, but the contribution they are nominated for must have taken place in the parish.
  2. Self-nominations and nominations from immediate family members are not accepted.
  3. Current councillors, judging panel members, and council employees are not eligible.
