Luckily major emergencies are few and far between. However, the flooding disasters over the past few years across the country, including Gloucestershire, have highlighted the need for communities and residents to be well prepared.

The Resilience Planning working group is responsible for creating and updating the Emergency Plan, which was distributed to all Northleach households in 2010.

The group also deals with winter preparedness.  Are you ready for winter? The document below provides general advice on what to do when snow and ice comes.
