Northleach Historical Society: The World of Magic
The World of Magic From Ancient Egypt to Modern Times
Bob King is not only an atomic physicist, he is a member of the Magic Circle and an expert on the history of all things magical. His talk describes the origins of magic in Egypt as well as shows of more recent times such as that of the escapologist and illusionist Harry Houdini. And it being Guy Fawkes Night Bob may show us his own tricks involving ropes and playing cards.
