Northleach Historical Society – Cheltenham, What the Visitors Thought

Steven Blake delves back into the diaries and letters of the Regency period and beyond to give us visitors’ descriptions of the town – some flattering, some less so! Dr Blake, former Keeper of Collections at the Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum, also reveals how Cheltenham was depicted in paintings and prints.
Everyone welcome. Members free, visitors £3.
