History Society | The Norman Landscape

4 April 2018 @ 7:30 pm

£3

What did the Normans do for us? Everyone knows that William the Conqueror invaded England in 1066. Less well known are the changes the Norman Conquest brought about. Alan Pilbeam tells us how Norman churches, castles, forests, deer parks and the Domesday Book altered the landscape of Gloucestershire.

Members free, visitors welcome (£3).
