Next year marks the centenary of the scuttling of the German Fleet at Scapa Flow in the Orkneys, when German battleships impounded by the victorious Allies at the end of the First World War were sunk rather than handed over. David Brown re-lives the drama of Scapa Flow for us – and the fate of the wrecks.
Members free, visitors welcome (£3).
