Historical Society Talk – Civil War in Oxfordshire

£31649: Oliver Cromwell pursues the rebellious Levellers to Burford, where three are executed at the church. Hear John Hunt on the dramas of the Civil War in Oxfordshire: 7.30 pm at the Westwoods Centre. Members free, visitors £3.00. Come along and join! Talks aimed at bringing our history alive are held on the first Wednesday of the month: future subjects include the industrial heritage of the Cotswolds, plus a summer outing in July.
