Historical Society – Roman Corinium

In Roman times Cirencester was the second largest town in Britain after Londinium. Using the evidence from archaeologial digs across the town we take a look at Roman Cirencester with the help of the Corinium Museum, from its foundation as a cavalry fort to the end of the Roman administration.

Members free; visitors £3.
