Northleach Historical Society: The 17th Century Layout of Sherborne Park & Lodge Park

Sherborne Park Estate is an historic woodland area and lodge managed by the National Trust. Roger Davies, the Sherborne local historian, reflects on the layout when the estate and England’s only surviving 17th-century grandstand at Lodge Park were built by John “Crump” Dutton for deer coursing, gambling and banqueting.
