CPR Training Course for Kirstie’s 25 Challenges
10 February 2018 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Free
Kirstie Smith, who grew up in Northleach, is organising a free CPR training session on Saturday 10 February as part of her 25 challenges in a year to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK. One of her challenges is to get 25 people trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and life-saving skills.
The session is free but limited to a group of 25 people, with places allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Please contact Kirstie directly to reserve a place.
Cotswold First Aid will be running the course, which will take place at the Westwoods Centre. The two hour CPR session is a non-accredited course which will include adult, paediatric and baby, and cover:
- Unconscious but breathing casualty (recovery)
- Unconscious but NOT breathing casualty (CPR)
- AED awareness
- Choking
Refreshments will be available and donations are welcome on the day, or via JustGiving.
Kirstie is doing this and 24 other challenges to raise money and awareness of bowel cancer, in memory of her dad Malcolm. You can follow Kirstie’s 25 Challenges on Facebook: www.facebook.com/kirsties25challenges/
