Cotwolds Landscape Through the Lens

12 April 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Cotswold Conservation Board is holding an event at Notgrove Village Hall from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday 12th April to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Cotswolds being allocated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  This allocation has preserved many of the villages and landscape within the Cotswolds but also over this period much has changed.  The Cotswolds Conservation Board who manage the AONB wish to make a record of the changes over this period.

We are asking anyone to come along and bring old photographs or negatives they have of the landscape showing any change over this period – please see the attachment below that explains this in more detail.  There will be a copier, scanner and equipment on site so we can copy your old photographs and negatives.

This invitation is open to all, so please do pass it on to any keen photographers or long term locals who might have records of this era.

Notgrove is located midway between Bourton on the Water and Northleach, off the A436 the post code is GL54 3BS.  The Village Hall is located in the middle of village of Notgrove, it does have a licensed bar so the aim is to make it a jolly occasion and we hope lots of  you will attend.
