Cotswold Energy Saving Exhibition
24 March @ 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm
In partnership with Cotswold District Council and supported by our Town Council, Carbon Neutral Northleach are hosting a community exhibition to provide information on the energy issues that we all will face over the coming years. The event is FREE free to attend and exhibitors include:
- Listers Toyota electric cars
- Solar PV and battery storage
- MVHE Ventilation systems
- Ground and air source heat pumps
- Cotswold District Council: Zero Carbon Toolkit, details of CDC Climate Emergency Strategy
- Energy saving tips from Severn Wye Energy Agency (SWEA)
SWEA is a charity working towards a world where natural resources are used sustainably, communities are resilient against inequality and climate change does not threaten our future. They provide practical help and advice for tenants and homeowners.
There will also be two presentations:
6:30pm:- Chris Crookhall-Fallon from Cotswold District Council on ‘Meeting the decarbonisation challenge for Cotswold properties.’ Covering energy price volatility, project forward what that means for Cotswold district, and introducing the Net Zero Carbon Toolkit, explain where to access it, and updating the Local Plan to make it ‘green to the core‘.
7:30pm:- Paul Sheridan, Senior Domestic Energy Advisor at Severn Wye Energy Agency, on ‘Greening Buildings – an introduction to retrofit, carbon reduction and energy saving in homes’.
