Join the Cotswold Conservation Board team for a really wild camp out at the Cotswold Discovery Centre, where we will pitch our tents in the courtyard, around the camp fire. We will be joined by our moth expert who will help us set up a moth trap to see what we can catch overnight. A traditional country steam show in the heart of the Cotswolds on 2nd & 3rd September. 10am-5pm Saturday, 10am-4pm Sunday. Adults £5, seniors £3, children under 16 free (accompanied by an adult). Dr Steven Blake's illustrated talk takes us on a 100 mile journey through time - ‘The Cotswold Way’ - from the Stone Age to the Romans, the Anglo Saxons, the Middle Ages, the Reformation, the Civil War and the Industrial Revolution, visiting historic sites along the way such as Belas Knap, Hetty Pegler's Tump, Roman Villas, Hailes Abbey, Sudeley Castle, wool churches and cloth mills.
