Historical Society – Stories from Oxford Colleges

1 October 2014 @ 7:30 pm

£3

After starting the autumn season with a stimulating talk on 3 September by Dr Ray Wilson on the railways, bridges, canals, quarries and mills of the Cotswolds, members of the Northleach Historical Society will gather again on 1 October at 7.30 pm to hear Alastair Lack reveal the stories behind some of Oxford University’s most famous colleges. Mr Lack was for many years a presenter, producer and reporter for the BBC World Service, and has since become a sought-after speaker on various aspects of Oxford. Historical Society talks are held on the first Wednesday of the month at the Westwoods Centre, and visitors are most welcome at an entrance fee of £3.
