Annual Town Meeting

The Annual Assembly of the Town Meeting for NORTHLEACH with EASTINGTON will be held at Westwoods Centre, Bassett Road, Northleach on Thursday 24th April 2014 at 7pm Local Government electors for the Town will be entitled to vote at the Meeting which will be open to the public.

The business to be transacted at the Meeting will be as follows:-

1. To approve the Minutes of the last Annual Town Meeting held on 25 April 2013
2. Annual report from the Chairman and Mayor – Cllr Vicki Hewer
3. To receive a report from Cotswold District Council – Cllr Chris Hancock
4. To receive a report from Gloucestershire County Council – Cllr Paul Hodgkinson
5. Annual report from Cllr Blades on behalf of the Westwoods Centre Committee
6. Annual report from Cllr Hewer for Finance, Funding and Grants Committee
7. Annual report, Cllr Wellman for the Property & Premises Maintenance Committee
8. Annual report from Cllr Stock on behalf of the King George V Trust
9. Report from Northleach Residents Association – Mr Jim Thompson
10. To receive an update from Bromford Housing

Residential Development to the east of Bassett Road
The land to the east of Bassett Road has been earmarked for development by Cotswold District Council. The land is owned by Gloucestershire County Council; their emerging investigations and proposals for the site will be on display at the Westwoods Centre on Thursday 24 April 2014 between 3pm and 6.45pm prior to the Annual Town Meeting. This is your opportunity to come and talk to the County Council and their representatives about the site and let them know your thoughts.

We will be serving tea and coffee from 6.30pm so please come along and meet the Councillors and team prior to the meeting.
