Northleach Market Town located in
 An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Northleach is a small town in the Cotswolds, within easy access of Cheltenham, Oxford, Gloucester, Cirencester, Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water.

It is an ideal stopping over place for those keen to explore the many attractions in the area, and is within easy access of the M40 to London, M5 south to Bristol or M5 north to Birmingham.

 

The Cotswolds is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) which means it is recognised as being some of our finest countryside and is protected as a special landscape, of national importance.

 A Special Place

  • The Cotswolds AONB covers 2.038 sq kms (790 sq miles)
  • People have lived here for more than 6,000 years
  • Today most of the area Is farmland
  • More than half of the country's flower-rich Jurassic limestone grassland is in the Cotswolds
  • There are Internationally important beech and yew woods
  • Cotswold stone buildings are known alt over the world
