DRAFT MINUTES SUBJECT TO APPROVAL AT THE NEXT ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING OF NORTHLEACH WITH EASTINGTON HELD ON TUESDAY, 24 APRIL 2007
PRESENT: Councillors Loveday (Vice-Chairman of Council and Chairman of the Meeting), Blundell, Cotton, Mustoe, Pezet, Mrs Rainey, Vincent and Wellman, Mrs Jill Thomas (RFO), Cllr Mavis, Lady Dunrossil (County), Cllr Mark Tufnell (District), and Mrs Caroline Braidwood (Clerk), 15 members of the public and 2 members of the press.
1.APOLOGIES AND REASONS FOR ABSENCE
Councillor Jack Phillips (Health) and PCSO Mark Williams.
The Clerk advised that following Cllr Phillips’ admission to hospital he had received a liver transplant last week and it would be some considerable time before he was fully recovered.
Cllr Loveday and Members of the Council asked for their best wishes for a full and speedy recovery to be passed to Cllr and Mrs Phillips.
2. MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY, 25 APRIL 2006
The Minutes were amended and then confirmed as a true and accurate record and signed by the Chairman.
3. MATTERS ARISING FROM THE ABOVE MINUTES
Long overdue works had been carried out during the latter half of the year. The culvert was cleared out up to the Green and funding is in place to continue the work into the Market Place. The meeting was advised that the work carried out has already improved drainage in Mill End.
Cllr Wellman thanked Cllr Loveday for the longest Chairman’s Report in memory and thanked Cllr Phillips for his contribution to the work of the Council.
5. FINANCIAL STATEMENT
Cllr Hancock, Chairman of Finance Committee, was unavailable and this item was deferred until his arrival.

There being no other business the meeting closed at 7.40 p.m.
