The Cotswolds Hall is an
important part of the history of the town. In 1886 Mrs Elizabeth
Stephenson of London, kindly donated a house - plus the money for its
modification, decoration and furnishings - and the Northleach Institute
and Reading Room were opened. Over the years, it has seen many changes
and served many purposes.
It is a registered charity, managed by the Cotswold Hall Trustees. Their
sole purpose is to ensure that it contains - as Mrs Stephenson
originally intended - to serve and support the needs of the community.
