The current Town Council was elected uncontested in May as only 10 people came forward to fill the 11 positions. This means that we have a vacancy to fill.
The new council met last week and consists of 8 previous councillors and two new people, Mrs Amy Hasler and Mr Will Rayner. There has been some interest in the vacancy and councillors agreed to advertise the post over the next few weeks and invite interested parties to come to the next Town Council meeting on Wednesday 24th Tuesday 16th June (please note change of date) to explain why they would be interested in the role.
